Head of Marketing Section (Qatarization)
To study different social groups & identify each group's characteristics, interests, importance for QRCS, relevant areas of partnership & marketable humanitarian / support projects.
To plan for the marketing mix for the previously defined social groups & determine the best outreach & resource development strategies & methods for each group.
To offer the best competitive products through continuous innovation & development & to make use of available marketing opportunities to achieve marketing goals.
To help increase revenues by developing QRCS's traditional & digital fundraising tools.
To coordinate & discuss the development of fundraising strategies & general plans with relevant department sections & concerned QRCS units.
To develop & ensure publication of marketing content on QRCS's website, mobile app & social media platforms, in coordination with Media & Marketing Department, provide all the necessary information about projects / campaigns to be marketed, & update relevant data.
To help support feasibility studies for proposed projects by providing necessary marketing analysis, including market data, demand estimation, identification of target groups, analysis of competitive environment & distribution channels, submission of appropriate promotional recommendations, proposition of launch marketing strategies, & review proposals from consulting firms from a perspective that enhances QRCS's corporate identity & mental image.
To propose & design marketing initiatives / projects to develop QRCS's resources & ensure publication & follow-up.
To submit regular & analytical reports on section's performance & financial resources development, including achievements, challenges, recommendations & marketing, campaign & donation channels reports, supported by improvement statistics / data to enhance fundraising efficiency.
To perform any other tasks assigned by direct manager within the scope of job responsibilities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Professional certification or training courses in marketing & media for NGOs, marketing & consumer behavior research, digital marketing channel planning & professional project management.
Requirements
8+ years of practical experience in marketing, public relations, communication, or customer service.
Excellent understanding of leading marketing practices.
Very good knowledge of nonprofit organizations in the MENA region.
Familiarity with International Red Cross & Red Crescent Movement & IFRC's institutional resource development systems.
Good command of Arabic, with English preferable.
Good command of Microsoft Office Suite.
