Qatar Airways are pleased to announce an opportunity to join the Flight Operations – Navigation Services Air Traffic Operations team as an Air Traffic Operations Intelligence Manager. The role involves providing technical advice and administrative guidance on policies, procedures, and problem resolution for air traffic activities, specializing in using FTS simulation models, conducting in-depth analyses to identify improvements, and developing strategies to enhance air traffic flow and reduce delays. The role includes leading projects related to air traffic operations intelligence, facilitating workshops, preparing detailed reports, and analysing route networks to ensure safety and efficiency. Responsibilities

Provide technical advice and administrative guidance regarding policies, procedures, and problem resolution for air traffic activities. Provide specialised support for the utilization of airspace, ground, and FIR fast-time simulation models. Conduct in-depth analysis of air traffic operations to identify areas for improvements within the airspace, routes, flight procedures, working methods, etc., with the aim of ensuring the highest possible capacity, efficiency and safety levels. Develop and implement strategies to enhance air traffic flow and reduce delays based on in-depth operational analysis. Lead and manage projects related to air traffic operations intelligence ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Facilitate workshops and meetings to discuss air traffic operations intelligence findings and recommendations with internal and external stakeholders. Prepare detailed reports and presentations on air traffic operations intelligence findings to senior management and internal / external stakeholders. Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in air traffic management technologies and methodologies to ensure the environment within Qatar benefits the airline to the greatest extent possible. Analyse and validate the route network, deployment and utilisation of free route airspace, civil / military airspace interface including utilisation of flexible use of airspace to ensure safe and efficient operations. Conduct operational reviews following unusual events (e.g. severe weather) to identify improvement opportunities. Qualifications

About you Relevant University or College qualifications with minimum 7 years of job-related experience. Experience within an ATM environment for either an Air Navigation Services Provider (ANSP) or Airline Flight Operations environment or related organization engaged in ATM activities. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). ATPL / CPL / Flight Dispatch License / Certification or ATC, ATM qualification preferred. Sound knowledge of ICAO documentation on Global Air Navigation Plan, Global ATM Concept and Aviation Systems Block Upgrades (ASBUs) preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of ATC procedures and CNS / ATM Technology. Subject matter expert in the field of ATM and knowledge of Airspace planning and Management. Demonstrable knowledge of world-wide flight planning and Airline Operations. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and generate actionable insights. Project Management skills - Ability to independently manage project from its inception to completion. Presentation Skills - Ability to develop and clearly present the objectives of the project.
