Job description

Linum Consult’s client is a major international company working within the energy sector. They are currently seeking a Document Controller to be based in their Doha office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Managing the document control process, including the creation, revision, approval, distribution, and archiving of documents
Sending and tracking transmittals from external parties, recording the references of the transmittals, and keeping a copy of the documents transmitted
Reviewing and consolidating feedback from multiple team members while ensuring consistency and an absence of errors/duplicates
Tracking progress and pending actions and reporting the status to the Line Manager
Providing secretarial support to management and staff, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence
Making travel arrangements including organising flight tickets and travel visas

PROFILE

Degree qualification in Business Administration
At least 8 years’ experience in similar roles in large companies, with a minimum of 3 years in positions of increasing managerial responsibilities
Strong collaborative and teamwork skills, with the ability to work with key stakeholders, senior executives, and external partners
Fluent in English and preferably Arabic as well
Currently working in Doha, with a good understanding of Qatar and GCC culture & working environment
