Equipment Technician

As an Equipment Technician at Doveworth Limited you will be responsible for the maintenance repair and troubleshooting of various types of construction machinery and equipment You will work closely with project managers and site supervisors to ensure that all equipment is operational and meets industry standards Your expertise will contribute significantly to the efficiency and success of our projects Duties and Responsibilities Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on construction equipment Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and software Perform repairs on hydraulic systems engines electrical systems and other components Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities repairs performed and parts used Collaborate with team members to develop maintenance schedules that minimize downtime Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities Assist in training junior technicians on best practices for equipment care Stay updated on new technologies and advancements in construction equipment Skills Knowledge and Experience Required Proven experience as an Equipment Technician or similar role in the construction industry Strong knowledge of mechanical systems hydraulics electrical systems and diagnostics Proficiency in using hand tools power tools diagnostic equipment and software applications related to equipment maintenance Excellent problemsolving skills with a keen attention to detail Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fastpaced environment Relevant certifications e g ASE certification are preferred but not mandatory High school diploma or equivalent additional technical training or degree is advantageous In Return Doveworth Limited offers competitive compensation packages commensurate with experience We provide opportunities for professional development through ongoing training programs Employees enjoy comprehensive benefits including health insurance retirement plans paid time off and performance bonuses Our commitment to employee welfare ensures a supportive work environment where your contributions are valued
