Work Location : Qatar

Experience : >

10 years

Mission start : February 2026

Contract Term : 3 years

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Knowledge and / or Experience

  • 10 years of experience in engineering roles, including 6 years in the Oil & Gas Industry and 2 years in a supervisory or acting role, or oversight of contractor / subcontractor / service / vendor personnel.
  • Extensive experience with Oil & Gas Companies, EPC contractors, subcontractors, vendors, or service companies involved in the oil and gas industry.
  • Broad experience and demonstrated competence in managing across all phases of project execution including startup and handover, and managing technical issues.
  • Broad knowledge in project planning, scheduling, cost control, project gating system, project execution plan, risk management, change management, interface management, commissioning, and handover processes / procedures.
  • Extensive knowledge across engineering disciplines, international engineering standards, specifications, design, and execution methodologies.
  • Strong experience with risk assessment approach in decision making.
  • Proven experience in technology adoption and implementation of continuous improvement.
  • Experience in designing pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns, and storage tanks, and familiarity with relevant software and standards such as ASME, API, and TEMA.

  • Fluent in written and oral English.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, coordination and planning skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to interact / interface at all levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs, etc.
  • Deep knowledge of industry codes, standards and practices for machinery discipline.
