Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Civil Engineer specializing in Roads Operations and Maintenance (O&M) to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As a Civil Engineer (Roads O&M), you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the road infrastructure in the region.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive road maintenance strategies and plans
- Conduct regular inspections of road networks to assess conditions and identify maintenance needs
- Analyze pavement management data to prioritize maintenance and rehabilitation projects
- Design and oversee road repair, resurfacing, and reconstruction projects
- Collaborate with traffic engineers to optimize road safety and efficiency
- Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and project schedules
- Ensure compliance with local and international road design standards and regulations
- Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders throughout project lifecycles
- Implement and maintain quality control measures for road construction and maintenance activities
- Utilize GIS and other software tools to manage and analyze road network data
- Participate in emergency response planning and execution for road-related incidents
