Description
- The Project Marine Coordinator shall be experienced in handling / managing offshore marine units operating in the oil and gas industry.
- 8 years seagoing experience as a shipboard engineer or sea officer, including 1 year as Chief Engineer or Master
- Broad and extensive knowledge of critical marine operations including offshore construction inclusive of vessel movements such as jack-up barges, rigs and barge / vessel cranes.
- Knowledge of Dynamic Positioning Systems & Operations, DP FMEA Analysis, DP FMEA Proving Trials, Annual DP Trials, ASOG / CAM.
- Experienced in managing Marine Assurance & Compliance processes, following corporate requirements and international standards.
- Knowledgeable in International Maritime Regulations, Codes and Standards.
- Experience within the Middle East region is advantageous.
Previous Marine Warranty Surveyor (MWS) and Marine Consultancy experience is advantageous (Preferably OVID accreditation).
