Overview

Legal Officer – Arab National Key Responsibilities

Provide legal advice and guidance on all company matters, including contracts, agreements, and policies. Ensure compliance with Qatari laws, regulations, and corporate governance requirements. Advise management on labor law matters, employee disputes, and disciplinary issues. Represent the company before regulatory authorities, arbitration panels, or in legal proceedings if needed. Stay updated with changes in legislation, regulations, and compliance requirements in Qatar and the GCC. Support business development and project teams with legal assessments and risk analysis. Prepare and maintain accurate legal records, case files, and documentation. Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent; Masters degree preferred. Must be a licensed lawyer / advocate eligible to practice in Qatar (or GCC with recognition). Minimum 5-7 years of professional legal experience, preferably in corporate, commercial, and labor law. Strong knowledge of Qatari legal system, corporate governance, and compliance requirements. Previous experience working in oil & gas, construction, energy, or large-scale project environments is an advantage. Skills & Competencies

Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent negotiation and communication abilities. Ability to work under pressure and handle sensitive information with confidentiality. High ethical standards, integrity, and professionalism.
