Electrical Technicians - Lighting systems

• Electrical Technician: Required Nos 20.
• 5-7 years relevant experience in the Operation and Maintenance of Plant lighting systems (Oil & Gas).
• Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of industrial and plant lighting systems.
• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair various lighting installations, including:
  • LED and conventional lighting systems.
  • Floodlights, streetlights, and high-mast lighting.
  • Emergency and escape-route lighting.
  • Explosion-proof (Ex-rated) lighting fixtures.
  • Indoor and outdoor industrial lighting.
• Identify and rectify electrical faults in lighting circuits, fixtures, cables, switches, and control panels.
• Carry out replacement of lamps, LED drivers, ballasts, fixtures, and associated electrical components.
• Perform cable termination, glanding, insulation checks, and continuity testing.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and lighting layouts.
• Ensure proper functioning of lighting distribution panels, timers, photocells, and control systems.
• Conduct routine inspections and report defective equipment or potential electrical hazards.
• Execute maintenance activities in compliance with approved work permits, LOTO procedures, and HSE requirements.
• Maintain maintenance records, inspection reports, and job completion documentation.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other maintenance teams to ensure timely completion of assigned activities.

Education: Diploma/ ITI in Electrical Engineering.
