Job Summary
The Logistics Officer plans, performs, and controls logistics activities within the organization. This position manages shipment clearance and ensures effective monitoring and tracking of all inbound and outbound shipments at all times.
Job Responsibilities
- Arrange shipment logistics for inbound and outbound shipments.
- Handle shipment clearances, track shipments, and monitor delivery to ensure on-time arrival.
- Develop reports on product / material movements and operational logistics issues.
- Update stakeholders (internal / external) on shipment status.
- Develop logistics plans, support budgets, and organize timelines for new operations.
- Create operational procedures and method statements.
- Prepare reports on material, product, and personnel movements, and address operational logistics issues.
- Assess existing logistics systems and recommend corrective actions.
- Assist in designing and developing standard operating procedures for efficient logistics management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and directives.
- Monitor material movements to prevent damage to works, workforce, or the public.
- Ensure timely and condition-appropriate delivery of products to customers.
- Communicate effectively with clients and respond to their requirements.

Job Knowledge & Skills
Knowledge of inbound and outbound logistics operations.Understanding of import and export documentation.Good cross-cultural communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related software.ERP knowledge, preferably SAP, with functional skills.Job Experience
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including 3 years of specific logistics experience. Experience in GCC is a plus.
