Part-Time Operations Manager

Role Overview
The Operations Manager will play a critical role in ensuring Northbourne Advisory operates smoothly and efficiently during a period of growth. This role will manage the firm’s day-to-day operational functions, provide support on finance and HR, and implement systems to ensure the business scales effectively. The role requires responsiveness, strong organisational skills, discretion, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
- Oversee and maintain internal systems for project management, document control, and knowledge sharing.
- Ensure compliance with Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) requirements, policies, and reporting obligations.
- Support implementation of processes that strengthen efficiency and quality across the business.
Finance & Administration
Work with external accountants to manage invoices, expenses, and monthly financial reporting.Track budgets and project costs, ensuring accurate records and timely reporting.Support in preparing proposals, contracts, and engagement letters.Human Resources & Team Support
Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and HR processes in line with QFC employment regulations.Maintain HR files, contracts, and performance review frameworks.Provide day-to-day support to staff, ensuring a positive and efficient working environment.Business Support & Development
Assist the Chief Executive with scheduling, briefing packs, and internal communications.Manage vendor and supplier relationships, including office, IT, and design services.Support planning and delivery of client events, dinners, and workshops.Skills & Experience
Proven experience in operations, office management, or business administration (consultancy / professional services experience desirable). Experience working with firms registered within the Qatar Financial Centre a distinct advantage.Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.Familiarity with finance processes, HR administration, and compliance frameworks.Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with senior stakeholders.High levels of discretion, integrity, and professionalism.Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).Arabic language skills will be highly regarded.What We Offer
