Context :

Underthe overall supervision of the Supply Chain Officer and directsupervision of the Warehouse Officer the incumbent will beresponsible for organizing warehouse and logistics activitiesincluding : warehousing inventory management and provide logisticssupport to the mission.

CoreFunctions / Responsibilities :

1. Monitorthat all warehousing transactions are done in line to IOM internalguidelines and in close coordination with WarehouseOfficer.

2. Coordinate with Warehouse Officer forreceiving storing packing kitting labelling and dispatch of goodsfrom / to the warehouse.

3. Coordinate with WarehouseAssistants to make sure all movement of goods are timelyrecorded.

4. Coordinate with labour and followup thatdaily timesheets are updated.

5. In coordination with theWarehouse Officer plan and organize efficient and safe storing ofgoods at the warehouse according to available space andrequirements.

6. Monitor that all goods are properlystored and timely registered into the warehouse inventory database.

7. Keep track of all financial aspects related towarehouse and is accountable for all stored goods.

8.Maintain records of all transactions; keep an efficient filingsystem for stock records of all documents.

9. Preparedaily and weekly progress report for warehousingactivities.

10. Coordinate and verify that Stock ReceivingReports are raised immediately & that stock cards / bincards are updated immediately.

11. Verify that allwarehouse dispatches are supported by a fully approved StockWithdrawal Forms IOM Waybills and copies are kept onfile.

12. Monitor that all returned items are checkedreceived and recorded in a timely manner.

13. Oversee andassist in the MidYear and Annual Physical Stock Counts

14.At the request of the Line Manager or Head of Office participate instaff development and training processes.

15. Act withintegrity and professionalism and in accordance with IOMs Code ofConduct at all times.

16. Perform such other duties as maybe assigned.

RequiredQualifications andExperience

Education

• Universityor Bachelors degree in Business Administration Logistics Managementfour years of relevant professional experienceor
• High School diploma with six years ofrelevant professionalexperience.

Experience

Preferably have experience inlogistics at IOM and / or another UN Agency and in particularwarehousing and stock inventorymanagement.

Skills

Effectivelyapplies specialized knowledge of logistics asset and stockinventory management.

Languages

IOMsofficial languages are English French andSpanish.

REQUIRED

Forthis position fluency in English is required (oral andwritten).

DESIRABLE

Workingknowledge ofArabic.
