Purpose of the Position

As Vessel Operations Engineer, you will respond / report to the Project Operations Manager and be part of various projects within the Operations Department.

Responsibilities

• Engineering Support : Review documentation, suggest improvements, and support the engineering team in planning and execution phases.
• Project Operations : Assist both offshore and onshore teams with installation, diving, pre-commissioning, trenching, and hook-up operations.
• Planning & Coordination : Coordinate equipment, material logistics, and cross-functional teams to ensure readiness and compliance.
• Safety & Compliance : Ensure QA / QC & HSE standards are met; actively participate in risk assessments and safety briefings.
• Execution Oversight : Supervise key activities during vessel mobilization / demobilization, loadouts, and critical offshore operations; ensuring smooth execution during mobilization, testing, and installation phases.
• Continuous Improvement : Provide feedback and lessons learned to enhance procedures, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Commercial Support : Offer technical input to the commercial team for proposals and contractual matters.
