General Commercial In-House Lawyer (3–5 years’ PQE)

The organisation is involved in commercial financing, advisory, and investment activities across multiple sectors and jurisdictions. As part of its continued expansion, the in-house legal department seeks a talented General Commercial Lawyer to join its team and provide strategic legal support across a broad range of commercial, financial, and corporate matters. The Role Reporting to the Head of Legal, the successful candidate will be responsible for advising on a range of commercial and banking agreements, managing external counsel, and supporting operational and strategic initiatives. This is a hands‑on role within a highly collaborative and fast‑paced environment, offering exposure to a wide variety of cross‑border transactions and regulatory matters. Key Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including procurement, vendor, consultancy, and services agreements. Support banking and finance teams with loan documentation, security arrangements, and related agreements. Provide advice on corporate governance, compliance, and risk management issues. Assist with litigation and dispute resolution matters, liaising with external counsel where necessary. Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with organisational strategy and regulatory obligations. Monitor legal developments across relevant GCC jurisdictions and provide recommendations on best practices. Candidate Profile

Qualified lawyer with 3–5 years’ PQE, ideally gained in a reputable international law firm or major in‑house legal team. Strong background in commercial and banking contracts. Some experience in litigation, arbitration, or dispute management is advantageous. Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written) is essential. Regional GCC experience preferred; candidates of Lebanese or Egyptian background are encouraged to apply.
