Senior Draftsman (Architectural/Civil/Landscaping)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Senior Draftsman to lead the preparation coordination and management of structural architectural and landscaping drawings submittals and schedules. This role involves creating and reviewing high-quality error-free shop drawings using CAD software ensuring alignment with project specifications and coordination with architectural teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop detailed technical drawings plans and diagrams using CAD software based on sketches and specifications.
- Review and revise drawings for accuracy compliance with industry standards building codes and project requirements.
- Coordinate with architects engineers contractors and stakeholders to align designs and resolve conflicts.
- Mentor and guide junior draftsmen fostering team productivity and sharing best practices.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure error-free drafts and implement corrective measures.
- Manage and organize drawing files and documentation for easy access and retrieval.
- Oversee production printing and timely delivery of drawings to meet project milestones.
- Stay updated on CAD advancements drafting techniques and industry trends to enhance workflows.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Senior Draftsman in architectural civil or landscaping projects.
- Proficiency in CAD software and knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
- Strong attention to detail organizational skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
