Key Responsibilities and Tasks
- Identify and manage key accounts in the region, establishing strong relationships with influencers, decision makers and C‑suite stakeholders.
- Follow sales processes and guidelines to promote and sell Alfa Laval products.
- Analyze market insights and customer buying behavior, making sales plans according to the division strategy and targets.
- Seek and manage leads from the market and customers, converting them into real business opportunities to maintain a strong pipeline.
- Build the account structure in collaboration with BU and Division managers to effectively serve major customers in the defined territory for capital sales (heat exchangers).
- Be active in the market, focusing on visits, meetings and interactions with customers and industry leaders to understand needs and highlight the value of our products and services.
- Maintain an active online presence and professional network, promoting our goods and services through social media, webinars and seminars.
- Develop quotes reflecting customer needs with the support team, stressing unique selling points and achieving a high hit rate.
- Review commercial terms and conditions, leading negotiations to conclude purchase orders.
- Use CRM and other tools consistently and qualitatively, supporting the sales process and key decision making.
- Work proactively across the region, optimizing sales efficiency and reducing cost to serve.
Qualification & Experience
Preferred Mechanical / Chemical Engineer with 8-10 years of experience in sales to energy industries, proven track record in sales and negotiation, especially with key‑account management experience.
