About the job Based at Mandarin Oriental, Doha within the Food & Beverage Department, the Restaurant Supervisor will oversee all operational aspects of a shift to ensure service steps are followed and every guest is delighted. The Supervisor will also support restaurant management with administrative tasks. The role reports to the Restaurant Manager. Responsibilities include : Understanding the outlet’s concept, food, and beverage offerings; able to explain and train colleagues accordingly. Managing shifts effectively to ensure smooth operations, guiding colleagues, and personally engaging in all aspects of service. Maintaining synergy between Mosaic and Aqua outlets for maximum efficiency. Providing direction and support to restaurant colleagues during operational hours. Assisting the Restaurant Manager in training colleagues according to standards and policies. Completing assigned duties timely and efficiently. Candidate requirements : Experience as a Supervisor in a high-volume restaurant with high service standards preferred. At least 2 years of experience in a 5-star hotel environment. Degree or Higher National Diploma in Hospitality, Hotel, or Business Management preferred. Strong ability to understand guest needs and deliver superior customer service.
