Position : Lead Process Engineer

Experience Required
Minimum 10 years in the Oil & Gas industry (including at least 4 years in a project management or engineering leadership role).
Job Purpose
To lead and oversee all process engineering activities within project engineering support, ensuring technical excellence, compliance with standards, and timely delivery of project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate process engineering activities for assigned projects.
- Ensure all engineering deliverables meet quality and schedule requirements.
- Provide technical support to FEED and EPC contractors during all project phases.
- Liaise with project owners, shareholders, and external stakeholders to align technical requirements.
- Participate in bid evaluations, contract reviews, and project execution planning.
- Implement best engineering practices, tools, and systems for cost-effective execution.
- Support compliance with company project management systems and HSE standards.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical / Process / Mechanical Engineering.Strong knowledge of FEED, EPC, and detailed engineering design.Proficiency in process simulation tools (e.g., Aspen HYSYS).Excellent communication and leadership skills with multi-discipline coordination experience.Skills

Process Engineering Expertise : Strong understanding of process design, process simulation, mass & energy balance, PFDs, P&IDs, heat & material balances.FEED & EPC Knowledge : Experience in Front-End Engineering Design and EPC project phases.Process Simulation Tools : Proficiency in Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, or similar process simulation software.Process Safety & HSE : Knowledge of process safety, hazard analysis (HAZOP, LOPA), and engineering standards.Project Management : Ability to plan, monitor, and control engineering activities, schedules, and deliverables.Technical Interface Management : Coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams, contractors, clients, and vendors.Contracting & Procurement Support : Ability to review technical specifications, evaluate bids, and provide input to contracts.Leadership & Soft Skills
