IT Project Coordinator - Banking

We are currently looking for an IT Project Coordinator for our Qatar operations with the following terms and conditions.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in business finance banking or a related field.

Experience in project coordination or management in the banking or financial services industry.

Knowledge of banking software systems or IT project management is a plus.

Certification in project management (e.g. PMP) is desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning and Execution : Assist in planning and managing banking-related projects ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Coordination of Resources : Work with internal teams and external vendors to allocate resources effectively and ensure the timely delivery of project milestones.

Budget and Cost Management : Monitor project budgets track expenses and ensure that the project remains within financial constraints.

Stakeholder Communication : Serve as a point of contact between the project team, department heads, senior management and clients providing regular updates on project status and issues.

Regulatory Compliance : Ensure that all banking projects comply with industry regulations including data protection laws, financial compliance and risk management protocols.

Process Optimization : Support the implementation of new banking systems, tools or processes designed to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.

Risk Management : Identify potential risks associated with the project (e.g. regulatory changes, system vulnerabilities) and assist in developing mitigation strategies.

Documentation and Reporting : Maintain accurate project documentation including schedules, project plans and status reports and ensure compliance with internal banking procedures.

Quality Assurance : Monitor deliverables to ensure they meet the quality standards set by the bank and resolve any issues or discrepancies.

Training and Support : Assist in the training of staff and stakeholders on new systems or processes introduced through the project.
