Overview of the role

Manage the MEP design review and the site inspection for all shops and kiosks during their design & fit out stages to ensure compliance of designs with the Mall MEP Manuel and the Egyptian Cod; and proper achievement of their brand vision and review all required changes from leasing, development & tenants.

This post forms part of the Tenant Coordination Team within the Mall Management.

What you will do

• Negotiate with tenants’ designers their designs during the design review phase.
• Monitor the tenant’s contractors fit out progress versus their approved designs and submitted time schedule.
• Provide technical support and MEP solutions required for tenants during the design and fit out process.
• Support the tenant coordinators in all MEP technicalities and how to monitor the tenant contractors in relation with the Mall MEP requirements.
• Study and review all required changes from leasing, development & tenants.
• Resolve snags when inspecting fit out work on site and produce a snag list within days of shop opening.

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge

B. Sc. in Engineering (Mechanics)

Minimum Experience

3- 5 years of mechanics experience with at least 2 years in Retail Design & Review position, with enough site supervision experience to provide solutions when required and to produce snag lists for final inspections.
