We are currently working with our client based in Qatar to source a Warehouse Coordinator. This is a residential contract position, based in Qatar.
JOB PURPOSE & KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :
- Provide comprehensive logistics (material) support for various EPCIC Packages by working closely with the warehouse, materials, and logistics teams.
- Ensure material logistics between onshore and offshore operations are efficient and responsive to support offshore needs.
- Conduct multiple cargo inspections at various EPC Contractor premises based on the shipment plan.
- Coordinate the Cargo-run / shipping schedule for three Platform Supply Vessels (PSVs) supporting different EPCIC packages.
- Oversee the inspection and release of CCUs and other equipment for offshore dispatch, ensuring compliance with lifting and logistics procedures.
- Monitor and track equipment such as CCUs, special tools, and temporary equipment, ensuring proper storage and preservation at contractor facilities.
- Facilitate the supply vessel and shipping plan, coordinating CTR’s loading cargo and looking ahead for future shipments.
- Serve as the main focal point for import and export issues requiring support from the Freight Forwarding team.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS :
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree.Minimum Experience :
7+ years of experience in a supervisory role within a modern warehouse environment, preferably with a Warehouse Management System (WMS).5+ years of experience in the Offshore Oil & Gas industry (Drilling, Production, Projects, and Construction) in a similar role.Job-Specific Skills (Generic / Technical) :
Strong understanding of material handling equipment safety practices.Knowledge of material storage, preservation standards, and shipping documentation.Proficient in customs clearance processes and logistics operations.Strong problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.Proficient in MS Office and SAP (KABAL experience).If you are interested in applying for this job please press the Apply Button and follow the application process.
