We are currently seeking an experienced Medical Doctors who are interested in working as Offshore Doctors, Qatar. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care to meet operational demands.
The Role We are inviting experienced and dedicated medical professionals to apply for our Offshore Doctors team. This role demands a high level of professionalism and expertise, as you will be providing essential healthcare services in challenging offshore environments. Successful candidates must be prepared to undergo a rigorous credential verification and licensing process as part of obtaining the necessary Business Visa or Work Permit.
Applicants need to submit original certificates of their primary medical qualifications as well as any postgraduate degrees along with corresponding academic transcripts and letters of attendance.
Maintaining active professional registration and medical licensure in the home country and any country where practice has occurred in the past five years is required.
A Certificate of Good Standing from the licensing authority in each relevant country must be provided to demonstrate ethical practice and professional conduct.
Experience letters verifying employment history for the past five years are essential to validate practical expertise and continuity of professional service.
Candidates will be responsible for initially arranging and successfully passing the Prometric Licensure Exam; reimbursement of exam fees will be handled upon contract confirmation with International SOS.
Securing a valid Police Clearance Certificate is mandatory to ensure trust and safety standards.
An International SOS conducted physical fitness assessment must be successfully completed prior to deployment to guarantee the candidate’s suitability for offshore working conditions.
While Not Compulsory, Candidates Possessing The Following Certifications Will Be Highly Regarded Due To Their Relevance And Added Value In Offshore Medical Practice
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) certification
Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET), OPITO approved
Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) Safety Training, OPITO approved
Applicants currently working in Qatar with a valid No Objection Certificate (NOC) will be given preferential consideration during the selection process.
