Wireline Logging Engineer

Position : Wireline Logging Engineer

Location : Offshore / Onshore – Oil & Gas Sites (Qatar preferred)

Role Overview :

Responsible for executing cased-hole wireline logging operations safely and efficiently, ensuring high-quality data delivery and adherence to QHSE standards. Acts as the primary technical interface with clients and internal teams, providing operational excellence across both onshore and offshore projects.

Key Responsibilities :

Plan, prepare, and execute well-site logging operations, including SIT and documentation.

Operate memory logging tools : programming, downloading data, running in-hole operations.

Perform quality control for all recorded data and logs; ensure timely submission and invoicing.

Maintain operational safety and compliance with local laws, client requirements, and TGT HSE standards.

Maintain and troubleshoot logging equipment, ensuring modifications and maintenance are correctly implemented.

Liaise with clients and internal teams to support operational objectives and deliverables.

Maintain knowledge of technological developments and implement efficient work procedures.

Support interpretation, data delivery, and analysis as required.

Qualifications & Experience :

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Geology, Mechanical) or Geoscience.

Minimum 2 years’ experience in wireline logging in the oil & gas industry (4+ years preferred for cased-hole diagnostics).

Familiarity with QatarEnergy, LNG projects, and NOC operations is advantageous.

Knowledge of modern logging technologies and data interpretation cycles.
