Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (preferred). Minimum 3 years experience supporting Microsoft 365 especially Exchange Online and Outlook. Strong knowledge of O365 admin center Exchange Admin Center and PowerShell scripting. Experience working alongside helpdesk or desktop support teams. Familiarity with mailbox permission models and compliance standards. Microsoft 365 Certified : Exchange Online Support Engineer Specialty / Microsoft 365 Certified : Messaging Administrator Associate Key Responsibilities
Act as a subject matter expert for Outlook and Exchange Online. Investigate and resolve user issues related to Outlook connectivity sync problems and login errors. Troubleshoot Outlook performance and slowness issues (e.g. OST file size Add-ins latency). Collaborate with Desktop Support to ensure consistent resolution of user-reported email issues.
Support the Access Control team in daily mailbox operations (creation permission assignment de-provisioning). Manage shared mailboxes distribution lists and mailbox delegation. Perform mailbox migrations policy changes and retention rule updates when required. Utilize PowerShell to execute mailbox-related administrative tasks efficiently.
Monitor O365 service health and respond proactively to incidents or degradation. Maintain and update documentation for common troubleshooting procedures. Knowledge with Exchange Online Archive Exchange Backups Customer Managed Keys EntraID licensing. Provide input into automation and optimization opportunities within the mailbox and email workflow using PowerShell scripting Conduct root cause analysis and recommend long-term fixes or preventive actions.
