Job Title : Assistant Accountant – Motor (Insurance Sector)

We are looking for an Assistant Accountant (Motor Insurance) to support the finance team in processing claims, vendor payments, reconciliations , and month-end closing activities. The candidate must be detail-oriented, experienced in insurance finance operations , and comfortable using ERP systems.

• Process approved motor claims and prepare vendor payments
• Perform bank reconciliations and clear outstanding entries
• Track and follow up on pending claims using internal systems (e.g., VINGS)
• Coordinate with motor claims & underwriting teams for documentation
• Create and validate credit notes and ensure timely bank disbursements
• Assist in month-end closing , journal entries, and reports
• Handle payment rejections and reversal entries
• Prepare collection follow-ups and share outstanding reports
• Maintain and file supporting documents (contracts, tax cards, etc.)
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (B.Com, B.Sc, etc.)
• 3–5 years’ experience in insurance accounting or similar field
• Experience with bank reconciliations , claims processing , and ERP systems
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic accounting software
• Oracle ERP knowledge is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and time management
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Only Arab Nationalities will be considered
