Job Overview :

The Blaster & Painter will be responsible for preparing and coating surfaces. Of ships, machinery, and metal structures using blasting and painting techniques. The role includes performing surface preparation, mixing paints, applying protective coatings, and ensuring that all work meets quality, safety, and environmental standards. The candidate should have hands-on experience in industrial or marine painting and blasting operations.

Job Role & Responsibilities :

• Perform abrasive blasting to clean and prepare metal surfaces for painting.
• Mix and apply primers, paints, and protective coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray guns.
• Inspect surfaces to ensure proper cleanliness, smoothness, and coating thickness.
• Operate and maintain blasting and painting equipment safely and efficiently.
• Mask and protect non-painted areas during surface preparation and coating.
• Follow proper procedures for paint mixing, thinning, and application as per manufacturer specifications.
• Perform touch-up and finishing work to meet quality standards.
• Adhere to company safety and environmental (HSE) regulations while handling paints and solvents.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in a clean and organized condition.
