Teach 3rdor 5th Grade at a wonderful IB school in Qatar.

This lovelyschool opened in August 2019 as an IB Candidacy school embracingthe Canadian Curriculum of Ontario. In August 2020 it expandedtheir grades from PreKG to upper Elementary. JobDuties andResponsibilities :

Prepare annual / term / weekly plans in advance in accordance with theschool s learning outcomes.

Teachall areas of the primarycurriculum.

Integrate technologyas instructional and teachingmedium.

Effectively delivercourse materials through class presentations discussions practicaland field studies and online in cooperation with other members ofthe teaching staff.

Regularlymonitor the progress of students prepare report cards and discussresults with students parents andmanagement.

Maintain individualstudent s profiles that include all theirwork.

Take part in school eventsand activities that can be run at weekends orevenings.

Deliver IEPs (onesession daily) to individuals and small group of students duringthe school hours.

Assist withshortage of staff as directed by the Principal asneeded.

Contribute to theextracurricular life of theschool.

Contribute to supervisionduties to ensure the safety and appropriate deportment of studentsas assigned by the principal.

Effectively communicate withparents.

Requirements

• Bea fully qualified and experienced teacher with a Bachelor inEducation completed on campus (no longdistance educationdegrees)
• Atleast 2 years of IB experience(PYP)
• ValidTeacher s Certification
• Copyof a valid passport
• Recentlyissued FINGERPRINTS policeclearance
• Tworeference letters (one from most recentemployer)
