Senior Data Governance Engineer- Qatar

We are seeking an experienced

Data Governance Lead

with deep expertise in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise‑wide Data Governance frameworks and platforms. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in data governance, including at least 3 years of hands‑on implementation experience with leading governance tools such as

Informatica ,

Collibra ,

Alation ,

Atlan , or

Select Star . Candidates with

Informatica Cloud

implementation experience will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the implementation and enhancement of enterprise‑wide

Data Governance platforms .

Develop and maintain

Data Governance frameworks , policies, and standards to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.

Establish and manage core modules including

Data Catalog ,

Data Quality , and

Data Lineage .

Partner with data owners, stewards, and technical teams to define data ownership, accountability, and stewardship processes.

Drive adoption of data governance tools across the organization and support training and awareness initiatives.

Define and monitor key data quality metrics and ensure adherence to governance best practices.

Collaborate with business and technology teams to align governance objectives with enterprise data strategy.

Qualifications & Experience

10+ years

of total experience, with

at least 3+ years

specializing in enterprise Data Governance platform implementation.

Proven hands‑on experience with one or more platforms :

Informatica ,

Collibra ,

Alation ,

Atlan , or

Select Star .

Bonus points

for

Informatica Cloud

implementation experience.

Strong understanding of

Data Catalog ,

Data Lineage , and

Data Quality

modules.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a

STEM field

(Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).

Prior experience working within the

Asset Management

or

Investment Banking

domain is highly preferred.
