What we want
The Research Associate will process safety related research and proposal writing on competency building, quantitative risk assessment, hydrogen production via hydrolysis. They will support the process safety outreach activities (SABIC PSCDP, TAMUQ Continuing Education). Additionally, the Research Associate will be responsible for managing the safety of laboratories and supervising undergraduate and graduate students on process safety research.

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
Two years of related professional experience
Preferred Qualifications
Preferably to have qualification relevant to the job description.
Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
Job Responsibilities
Conduct process safety–related research and prepare proposals focusing on competency building, quantitative risk assessment, and safe hydrogen production through hydrolysis.
Provide support for process safety outreach initiatives, including programs such as the SABIC Process Safety Competency Development Program (PSCDP) and Texas A&M University at Qatar (TAMUQ) Continuing Education activities.
Supervise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students in conducting research on process safety, ensuring the development of their technical skills, critical thinking, and adherence to safety protocols.
Ensuring effective management of laboratory safety involves developing, implementing, and monitoring policies and procedures to minimize risks, protect personnel, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
