Overview Psychiatrist job in Doha Qatar

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing mental health assessment and treatment to patients suffering from mental and emotional disorders. The Psychiatrist will assess patients’ mental state and provide diagnosis, medication, psychotherapy, lifestyle adjustments, and other treatments to help them improve their mental health. They should have excellent knowledge of medical ethics and keep abreast of the latest developments in the field.

Responsibilities

Provide mental health assessment and treatment to patients with mental and emotional disorders.

Assess patients’ mental state, provide diagnosis, prescribe medications as appropriate, and implement psychotherapy, lifestyle adjustments, and other treatments.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical ethics and current developments in psychiatry.

Qualifications

Degree in Psychiatry or a related field.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust with patients; compassionate and patient-focused.

Expertise in diagnosis, treatment planning, psychotherapy techniques, pharmacology, case management, clinical documentation, patient advocacy, and cultural competence.

Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

This is a full-time position offering a salary of 900 per month.
