Site Inspection Engineer – Level Gauges (QatarEnergy LNG Project)
We are seeking a qualified Site Inspection Engineer to conduct a detailed technical assessment of 13 existing level gauges installed at the QatarEnergy LNG site. The engineer will ensure all technical parameters, measurements, and installation details align with the submitted offer and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site inspection of existing level gauge installations (13 units initially; may increase based on client request).
- Verify all technical aspects, including face-to-face measurements, center‑to‑center alignment, flange types and configurations, flange sizes and related dimensions.
- Prepare accurate documentation, inspection notes, and verification reports.
- Ensure the submitted offer aligns with the actual site installation and conditions.
- Coordinate with the client (QatarEnergy LNG) and internal teams for clarifications and updates.
- Follow all safety procedures and compliance requirements during site visits.
Duration & Work Arrangement
Inspection Period : 7 days (may extend if additional gauges are added).The project will be closed upon completion based on actual work performed.Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Instrumentation, or Electrical Engineering.Proven experience in field engineering, instrumentation inspection, or similar roles.Strong understanding of level gauges, flanges, instrumentation fittings, and industrial measurement systems.Ability to interpret engineering drawings, feasibility studies, and technical documents.Familiarity with QatarEnergy standards and safety requirements is an advantage.Strong communication, documentation, and reporting skills.Ability to work independently at site locations.Seniority level
