Overview
The incumbent will assist and support the Food & Beverage Manager with the day-to-day running of the Food & Beverage outlets to ensure a consistently high level of service is offered and delivered to guests. The F&B Supervisor will be responsible for leading, supporting and training the F&B team on shift. Key Responsibilities
Ensure new F&B team members are well-trained and motivated, and feel welcome. Ensure smooth running of F&B operations. Ensure a thorough handover between shifts. Maintain effective inter-departmental communication with Kitchen and other relevant departments. Plan and execute preparations before and during service (e.g., preparing tables, polishing cutlery). Manage stock and supplies in the restaurant and ensure timely orders to avoid stockouts of linen, glassware, etc. Control costs through correct stock usage, rotation, ordering, minimizing waste, forecasting, and workload management in conjunction with the F&B Manager. Drive revenue through different upselling programmes. Follow correct reporting procedures when issues arise. Ensure all standard checklists / task lists are completed each shift. Effectively prevent, recover from, and investigate any guest complaints. Aim to anticipate guest needs and respond to them to enhance customer satisfaction. Ensure service delivery is consistent and aligned with brand SOPs and service culture. Ensure the team has knowledge of F&B products. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, fire regulations, and food safety as per company standards and legislation. Ensure correct cash handling and credit card handling as per company standards / policy. Ensure proper closure paperwork is completed. Follow Health & Safety and food hygiene standards as trained. Maintain proper appearance and grooming of the team while on duty. Monitor operating supplies / equipment and reduce spoilage and wastage. Ensure the team is punctual, polite, courteous, and helpful to guests and colleagues at all times. Lead and motivate a diverse team. Comply with company brand standards. Attend Duty Manager shifts as required. Perform other reasonable duties assigned by management. Key Competencies

A minimum of 1 year of F&B experience with a relevant track record. Previous supervisory experience is an advantage but not required. Proficiency in Micros. Degree in hospitality management or business management is a strong advantage. Senioriry level
