Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security tools. Familiarity with various operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and Unix. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Advanced certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH). Experience with cloud computing security practices. Knowledge of compliance regulations such as GDPR or HIPAA.
Overview
Information Security Analyst — Umm-Salal, Qatar (Contract, 1100 USD / month).
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security risks.
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures to protect company data.
- Monitor network traffic and investigate any suspicious activity.
- Respond to security incidents and provide technical support as needed.
- Conduct security awareness training for employees to ensure compliance with security protocols.
- Stay updated on the latest security threats and trends in order to proactively protect company data.
