Optometrist – Doha, Qatar

We are looking for an Optometrist to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be part of a team providing high quality eye care services.

The successful candidate must have excellent vision, communication and interpersonal skills to provide outstanding customer service to patients. This position offers a salary of 1400 per month, and we are ready to consider a foreign applicant. No experience is necessary for this position.

The Optometrist's duties include but are not limited to : carrying out eye examinations; advising on corrective lenses; diagnosing eye conditions; providing advice on general eye health; referring patients with complex cases to an ophthalmologist; ordering and fitting contact lenses; updating patient medical records; stocking frames and lenses in the clinic; and participating in continuing education programs.

Qualifications :

• Degree in optometry from an accredited college or university
• Valid license / certification as an Optometrist
• Experience with optical equipment preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
