Overview

We have job opportunity as “Mechanical Technician” for 6 Months Shutdown.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, dismantling, inspection, repair, and reassembly of rotating and static mechanical equipment, such as pumps (centrifugal and reciprocating), compressors, gearboxes, turbine, mixture, fin-fan, ID, FD, blowers and fans.
• Perform precision alignment of rotating equipment using dial indicators and laser alignment tools.
• Conduct equipment inspection and troubleshooting to detect faults or wear.
• Replace defective parts including seals, bearings, gaskets, shafts, couplings, and mechanical seals.
• Follow technical drawings, isometrics, and job packages accurately.
• Support mechanical scopes during shutdowns, turnarounds, and emergency maintenance activities.
• Work safely under SABIC’s permit-to-work system, including LOTO, confined space, and hot work procedures.
• Coordinate with other teams (electrical, instrument, rigging) to execute integrated work packages.
• Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are properly handled and maintained.
