Job Summary
The Graphic Designer is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and producing high-quality visual content that aligns with Media City Qatar’s brand identity, communication goals, and creative standards. The role involves translating complex ideas into compelling visual narratives across digital, print, and multimedia platforms to enhance audience engagement and support organizational initiatives. The Graphic Designer works collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to deliver innovative design solutions for campaigns, marketing materials, digital and web assets, social media, events, and corporate communications, ensuring consistency, creativity, and impact in all visual outputs.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Visual Content Creation
- Design engaging visuals for digital platforms, print materials, presentations, and campaigns.
- Develop and maintain brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
- Collaborate with internal teams to translate strategic goals into compelling visuals.
- Apply CX and UX principles to create user‑centric designs that enhance customer journeys.
- Create assets for social media, websites, email campaigns, and events.
- Capture high‑resolution photographs of MCQ, events, and other marketing activities.
- Utilize AI‑powered tools for video editing, creative ideation, and content generation.
- Stay updated on design trends and tools to continuously elevate creative output.
Project Management and Coordination
Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards.Liaise with printing companies to ensure production quality and accurate execution.Coordinate photo shoots, ensuring the best representation of MCQ and its partners.Ensure all stakeholders are engaged and aware of content creation activities in advance.Coordinate with photographers and graphic designers to ensure ongoing renewal and engagement with new content.Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high‑quality output.Coordinate with external vendors to complete projects on time and within budget.Provide support to the team on various tasks as directed by the Line Manager or Director.Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
Continuous Improvement
Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.
Reporting
Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate statements and reports to meet department requirements, policies and quality standards.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.Master’s degree in Design, Multimedia, or a related discipline (preferred).Minimum Experience
Min 3 years of professional experience in graphic design, performing similar functions.Demonstrated experience applying CX and UX principles in design projects.Motion graphics and video editing experience (e.g., After Effects) is a plus.Experience dealing with print vendors.Strong portfolio showcasing branding, digital, and print work.Required Competencies
