Business Development Engineer @ Cobalt Mechanical Works

Company Description

Cobalt Mechanical Works, based in Qatar, specializes in metal fabrication and engineering services, providing end-to-end truck body fabrication solutions tailored to diverse operational requirements. We serve industries including commercial, construction, waste management, municipal, and oil & gas, delivering durable and field‑ready solutions for challenging environments.

We are looking for a Design Engineer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for designing and developing truck bodies, hydraulic systems, and other fabrication solutions. This is a full‑time, on‑site role in Doha, Qatar.

Create and develop detailed CAD designs for truck bodies and metal fabrication projects.
Collaborate with production teams to ensure technical feasibility and accuracy.
Conduct site visits to gather project requirements and technical details.
Work closely with engineering teams to improve product designs.
Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

Qualifications :

Strong skills in design engineering and product design.

Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).

Background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Strong problem‑solving and attention to detail.

Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field.

Experience in metal fabrication is a plus.

Knowledge of safety standards and compliance requirements.
