Overview

Tech Lead - SAP ABAP Developer position located in Doha, Qatar. Role involves SAP ABAP development for SAP ECC and SAP S / 4HANA projects, with focus on FI, CO, PM / MM and HR (PA / PD / ESS / MSS) modules. Notice period : Immediate to 30 days. Sub con Budget : 25K QAR. Experience : 5 to 10 years.

Responsibilities

  • Work with project and internal team members to help in creating well defined functional and technical specifications for development objects.
  • Develop ABAP technical objects (Reports, Data Transfer Programs, Enhancements) from given specification documents in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Debug and troubleshoot existing SAP applications.
  • Ensure the ABAP development aligns with project requirements and SAP best practices.
  • Execute and adjust custom code programs as per the scan results of ABAP Test Cockpit and Code Inspector tools.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of SAP ABAP development experience, with at least 1 year on S / 4HANA and at least 1 year of Fiori development.
  • Development experience in S / 4HANA ABAP 7.5, OO ABAP, User Exits, Business Add-Ins, Enhancement Framework (Implicit & Explicit), BRF+, BOPF and / or Adobe Forms.
  • Experience with ABAP on HANA including CDS views, OData services, and integration with cloud and on-premise systems.
  • Understanding of RAP, and optionally ABAP Development Tools (ADT), CDS.
  • Experience designing and building SAP Fiori applications and architectures (e.g., Worklist, Master-Detail, Smart Controls / Templates / Fragments / Themes).
  • Experience implementing standard Fiori applications (transactional, factsheet, analytical) and enhancing them via the enhancement framework; ability to model OData services using Gateway Service Builder.
  • Experience with RFCs, IDocs, Traditional and Web Dynpro, SQL preferred.
  • Experience in one or more SAP modules (FICO, PM / MM, HR, EHSM) is required.
  • Full life cycle experience (design, installation, implementation, and support).
  • Experience with ABAP Test Cockpit and Code Inspector tools; ability to respond to scan results.
  • Desirable : SAP Business Objects and SAP Workflow experience.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
