Description The Sales Engineer – MEP will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, preparing competitive tenders, and managing the estimation and bidding of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works. This role requires a balance of technical knowledge and commercial acumen to secure profitable projects while building long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities for MEP projects in the Qatari market.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.

Manage estimation and bidding activities, including quantity take-offs, cost analysis, and preparation of technical and commercial proposals.

Coordinate with the engineering and procurement teams to prepare accurate and competitive tenders.

Conduct market research to analyze trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.

Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and marketing materials to prospective clients.

Support negotiations and assist management in closing deals.

Track tender submissions, follow up with clients, and ensure timely feedback.

Maintain an updated database of clients, projects, and bidding opportunities.

Ensure all proposals comply with project specifications, local regulations, and company standards.

Desired Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related discipline).

Minimum 5–7 years of experience in MEP estimation, tendering, and sales within the construction industry, preferably in Qatar or the GCC.

Proven track record in preparing and winning bids for MEP projects.

Strong understanding of Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS) and local authority requirements.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and estimation software / tools.

Ability to work independently with a results-oriented approach.

Valid Qatar Driving License (preferred).
