About the Role :

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) Consultant to lead and support database migrations to the cloud and manage cloud-based DBA operations. The ideal candidate will possess deep Oracle expertise and proven experience in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure – OCI).

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead end-to-end Oracle database migrations to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OCI, GCP).
• Design, implement, and optimize cloud-native database architectures.
• Provide ongoing cloud-based DBA operations support, including backup / recovery, patching, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with application teams to ensure seamless database integration and minimal downtime.
• Configure and manage HA / DR solutions (e.g., Data Guard, GoldenGate).
• Automate routine DBA tasks using scripting (Shell, Python, etc.) and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Monitor cloud resources, optimize performance, and manage cost-effective cloud usage.
• Ensure compliance with security and governance standards for cloud databases.
