What You Need To Know
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Engineer to join our team in Doha. This role is essential in ensuring that all project quality requirements are met throughout the manufacturing phase, with a strong focus on compliance, documentation, and inspection.
Key Accountabilities
- Review and approve ITPs, QPs, and technical documentation
- Conduct inspections (dimensional, welding, paint, PMI, etc.) and verify systems against approved drawings
- Coordinate with third-party inspectors and clients to ensure timely delivery and compliance
- Manage non-conformances, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
- Prepare MRBs, generate reports and Quality Alerts, and support internal / customer audits
- Ensure compliance with Global Business Management (GBMS) and contribute to continuous improvement
Qualifications / Skills & Experience
Proven experience in quality assurance within manufacturing or oil & gas sectorStrong understanding of inspection techniques and documentation standardsExcellent coordination and communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholdersEducation
Candidates should hold Engineering and / or Quality related certificate / Diploma / DegreeDemonstrated competency through experience gained while working within a similar fieldPreferred
Internal or lead auditor qualification ISO 9001CSWIP 3.1 – Welding InspectorNDT Level II (RT, PT, UT, MT, VT) – ASNT TC 1A or ANSI / ASNT CP-106 : 2008 (ISO 9712 : 2005, Modified)BGAS or NACE Qualified Coating InspectorExperience
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Inspection and Quality Control in Oil and Gas Field.Preferred Experience
Contracts / tendering experienceExperience in document and data management through software, D365, MS Office etc.Core Competencies
Inspection Skills : Dimensional, visual, welding, paint, surface finish, PMI, and final product release.Documentation & Review : ITPs, QPs, calibration / test certificates, material certifications, Engineering drawings, Manufacturing Record Book, and quality packs.Quality Assurance : Root Cause Analysis, non-conformance management, internal / external audits, ISO 9001 and Management System compliance.Risk & Standards : Risk identification and mitigation; knowledge of industry standards and certifications.Continuous Improvement : Process improvement, cost of poor quality awareness, production readiness.Communication & Collaboration : Demonstrated ability to engage with internal teams, clients, and third-party inspectors.Why Choose Us
