Primary Purpose of the Job
This position requires the post-holder to be part of a team and perform all tasks assigned to deliver top-class service to our customers. Providing 1st and 2nd line IT technical support to resolve user and operational problems according to the agreed Service Level Agreements to enhance user satisfaction level. Supporting and maintaining PCs and peripherals. Carrying out diagnostic troubleshooting by selecting and using appropriate technical references. Ensuring rapid response to user technical and functional issues for a range of applications across multiple business lines and assets. Maintaining a high level of customer service for all support queries. Acting as the first line security response resource and executing emergency procedures. Required Experience and Skills
Minimum 5 years post-diploma experience in installing and supporting Desktop environment and equipment in an enterprise environment (Oil and gas organization is preferred).
Technical diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering / Electronics or equivalent.
