الوصف الوظيفيShip Master´s license or a degree from an Institution of Shipping Studies. 10 years experience on board and on shore in a shipping company with at least 3 years in a managerial role. Good understanding of various aspects of the fleet operations, particularly marine related aspects (safety, communication and navigation) Advanced leadership skills. Knowledge of marine / ships technicalities, tools, and equipment. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Advanced analytical and reporting skills. Excellent organizational and planning skills.
Responsibilities
- To serve as the Designated Person Ashore (DPA), responsible for formulating and ensuring the effective implementation of strategies for the acquisition, provision, and maintenance of marine equipment.
- This includes ensuring full compliance with safe working practices, established marine standards, and relevant international rules and regulations, in order to meet operational performance targets and ensure maritime safety.
