Duties & Responsibilities Teach didactic lectures, clinical courses, and labs as needed. Provide clinical supervision. Assess student assignments and grade student performance. Mentor and advise students. Develop curriculum and programs. Participate in faculty governance including serving on Departmental, College, and / or University committees. Maintain an ongoing record of scholarly productivity including publications in internationally recognized journals. Foster and participate in collaborative, interdisciplinary research teams in the College, QU Health Sector and across the University. Qualifications A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from a reputable university. Specialty certification is preferred. Active registered nurse license from home country or country of residency. Eligibility for an educator license from Qatar's Department of Healthcare Professions (DHP), and to be obtained within six months of hiring. A minimum of 3 years clinical experience as a registered nurse. A minimum of 1 year of experience teaching in an undergraduate nursing program. Evidence of clinical experience and or teaching experience in the area of specialty. Experience with competency-based curriculum is preferred. Experience with next generation NCLEX-RN exam is preferred. Evidence of research productivity in the area of specialization is preferred.
