Lifting Supervisor

Job Description

Responsibilities :

Supervise all lifting operations to ensure they are carried out safely and efficiently.

Verify that lifting plans, risk assessments, and method statements are in place and followed.

Ensure lifting equipment, cranes, and accessories have valid third-party certification.

Conduct pre-lift inspections and toolbox talks with crane operators and riggers.

Assign and oversee riggers, signalmen, and operators during lifting operations.

Ensure lifting activities comply with Lifting Code of Practice and relevant standards (BS, LOLER, OSHA, etc.).

Stop unsafe lifting operations and rectify issues before resumption.

Maintain proper records of lifting operations, permits, and certifications.

Qualifications & Experience :

Diploma / Technical Certificate in Mechanical, Civil, or related field.

Minimum 5–8 years of lifting and rigging experience, with at least 2–3 years as a Lifting Supervisor.

1. Lifting Supervisor TUV QP Certification

2. Medical Fitness to Work ( Qatar Energy approved)

3. Third Party Training Certification ( H2S / BA, Working at Height certificates )
