General Counsel

Kindly note candidate should have previous work experience with a Qatar Exchange listed company.

Job Objective The legal function involves managing legal risks, resolving disputes, and providing ongoing legal assistance for business transactions, while adhering to laws, regulations, and internal policies to promote overall interest.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Law from a recognized university

Legal qualification such as bar is preferred

Minimum Experience

15 years of relevant experience in a similar sector, including at least 5 years in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities in legal function

Job Specific Skills

Legal resolution, arbitration, prosecution, litigation

Negotiation and dispute settlement

Understanding and writing of tenders and contracts

Advanced people management and leadership

Problem‑solving skills

Good relationship management

Good communication skills

Must be proficient in Arabic
