Radio Technician

A reputable radio station in Doha is seeking a skilled and experienced Radio Technician to join our team. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting all technical equipment related to our radio broadcasting operations. This includes, but is not limited to, transmitters, receivers, studio equipment, and satellite systems.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance on all technical equipment to ensure optimal functioning

Troubleshoot and repair any issues with equipment in a timely manner

Install new equipment and conduct necessary tests and adjustments

Monitor signal quality and make necessary adjustments to maintain clear broadcasting

Maintain inventory of spare parts and order new ones when needed

Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs performed

Collaborate with other team members to plan and execute special broadcasts or events

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years experience as a Radio Technician or similar role

Familiarity with radio broadcasting equipment such as transmitters, receivers, and studio equipment

Knowledge of electrical systems and ability to read schematics

Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work well under pressure

Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Applicants must have their own visa

About the role We offer a competitive salary of 1600$ per month, as well as opportunities for growth within our organization. This position does not require fluency in English.
