About the Job : Local Procurement Engineer
Job Objective :
To handle all activities related to procurement, and to ensure achieving the best terms of quality, price, and delivery conditions.
Principal Accountabilities
- Identify vendors and negotiate purchase conditions with approved suppliers.
- Process the purchase requests from different companies and departments.
- Follow up with vendors and finalize purchase orders.
- Prepare purchase orders and send them to suppliers.
- Monitor delivery of goods, and process payments as per the LPO terms and conditions.
- Provide analytical reports related to the procurement functions.
- Maintain ongoing surveillance of the market, monitor price trends and keep abreast of supplies developments.
- Abide by all group policies and procedures.
Educational Background & Experience
Bachelors degree in engineering.(5–10) years of work experience in technical procurement field.Required Competencies
