Armed Counterintelligence Support Specialist (CISS) Team Lead, Senior- TS / SCI-(CIS0002BI)
Your Impact :
Supports United States Forces Global (USFOR-G) providing multi-disciplined intelligence operations in support of global United States (US) military and government operations, including, but not limited to, all Major Commands and Combatant Commands of all military branches. Provides global intelligence analytical reach-back in support of Department of Defense (DoD), Special Operations Command (SOCOM) and Special Operations Forces (SOF) initiatives, missions, and crisis response as well as US Army Europe & Africa (USAREUR-AF) remote, CONUS-based, analytical support.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct CI screenings that may be accomplished off-FOB in hostile controlled and potentially hostile fire zones without an armed CI military presence. Subjects being screened could potentially be armed, increasing the risk to armed CI personnel.
- Support complex time-sensitive military operations, identify, and perform basic network analysis and conduct planning efforts. May provide support to Special Operations Forces (SOF).
- Forecast, recognize, and anticipate issues. Resolve conflict among multiple priorities and implement effective solutions to maintain timelines for deliverables.
- Expertise in assigned intelligence discipline and demonstrated ability to work effectively with civilian team members and partner forces.
Produce all documents such as proof of LOAC, RUF, ROE signature acknowledgement and annual weapons qualification score card upon request.
Weapons will only be carried while performing assigned armed CI missions.Supervise Contractor Personnel Performance of armed CI Operations.Maintain all armed CI files and Reports Log.Schedule and plan TFAN missions.Perform convoy operations to mission sites and enforce team force protection posture.Conduct armed CI Operations briefings.Maintain proficiency with, and the capability to carry, assigned small arms. Contractor personnel shall be qualified to carry and use an M4 Carbine and M9, M17, M18 Pistol.During non-armed CI mission planning and operations periods, the contractor shall perform all functions listed below.Provide analysis to support CI investigations and TARP.Provide support to the OPSEC / TARP awareness programs and shall provide briefings to base personnel.Coordinate with installation leadership / FP personnel / CI elements / 2X elements.Develop recording mechanisms for Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) and lessons learned in the conduct of operations. Include all lessons learned (positive & negative), as well as best-practice TTPs in an accessible forum as agreed upon by the TTM.Coordinate with senior leadership and senior intelligence officials on station to ensure CI activities support CI teams, OMT, S2X, and CJ2X and other supported Commands.Perform biometric enrollments of LNs and TCNs during armed CI operations and at locations that do not have organic enrollment capabilities.divergent
Here's What You'll Need :
Knowledge of Army / Joint CI procedures, doctrine, and practices.Knowledge of Army / Joint Counterintelligence regulations and legal limits.Knowledge of basic CI analysis, data mining, and DoD common intelligence systems.Experience in working with and through interpreters.Experience with interview and solicitation techniques.Experience with CI principles and methods.Experience in developing screening / interviewing / debriefing plans.Experience in conducting screenings / interviewing / debriefing.Proficient in briefing senior leadership at the O6 level.Experience with the evaluation of information requiring further investigation.Deployment experience.Experience writing / reviewing military reports.Experience supporting CI operations or acting in the capacity of / performing the mission of a CI agent.Able to qualify with the M4 rifle and M9 / M17 / M18 pistol using basic military marksmanship standards.Able to carry a 60-lb pack in the field and the M4 rifle for self-defense.Clearance Required :
TS / SCIMinimum Education :
Army CI credentialing course such as CI Special Agent Course (CISAC) or other accredited DOD CI credentialing courses such as Advance Foreign CI Training Course (AFCITC) OR MAGTF CI / HUMINT Basic Course or NCIS Special Agent Basic Training Program (SABTP).Minimum Years of Experience :
At least eight (8) years’ experience with former MOS 35L, 351L, 97B, 35E, 351L / or civilian formerly badged and credentialed 1810 / 1811 / 0132 or 18F = SF INTEL NCO or 180A SF WO with ASOT-III, or other Service equivalents specialty codes such as USAF 7S091 – Special Investigator (SI) USMC 0211 Counterintelligence / Human Intelligence (CI / HUMINT) Specialist, or other DoD Joint Service equivalent specialty codes.If 35M, 351M, and 97E or USAF 1N791 Human Intelligence Specialist waiverable with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a Mid-level CISS.
Graduates from the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, Criminal Investigator Training Programs resulting in badging credentialing will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis for waivers.Five (5) years operational experience coordinating operations.Preferred :
