About the Role We are seeking a detail‑oriented and analytical Risk Engineer to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As a Risk Engineer, you will play a crucial role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks across various projects and operations.
To undertake risk management and highlight priority of risks and develop mitigation solutions as part of the delivery of the Works Order Contract.
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and analyze potential hazards in industrial and construction projects
Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize potential losses and improve safety
Perform on‑site inspections and evaluations to identify potential risks and recommend appropriate control measures
Analyze complex data sets and prepare detailed technical reports on risk findings and recommendations
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate risk management practices into project planning and execution
Stay up‑to‑date with industry standards, local regulations, and international best practices in risk engineering
Utilize risk management software to track, analyze, and report on risk‑related data
Provide expert advice and guidance to clients and stakeholders on risk‑related matters
Contribute to the development and improvement of risk assessment methodologies and tools
What do we need from you
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Minimum of 5 years of experience in risk engineering or a related field
Professional certification such as Certified Risk Engineer (CRE) or equivalent is preferred
Proven experience in industrial or construction risk assessment and management
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
Excellent technical report writing and presentation skills
Proficiency in risk management software and data analysis tools
In-depth knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices in risk engineering
Familiarity with local and international building codes and safety standards
Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels
